Kari Lynn Purcott, M.D.

Dr. Purcott has been practicing medicine since 2005.  She joined Vista Way OB/GYN in August 2009.  She enjoys providing counseling, medical care and surgical options to women as they navigate the diverse needs of women's health.

Education:
Undergraduate - University of Southern California
Medical School - University of Miami Miller School of Medicine
Residency - Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles

Before pursuing her medical degree, Dr. Purcott was a case manager and counselor for "at risk" youth in Palm Beach County, Florida.  During Medical School, she was the Key West Site Director for the Florida Keys Health Fair and joined Project Medishare to provide free healthcare in Dominica.
During residency, Dr. Purcott acquired comprehensive experience in laparoscopic surgery and was voted the Bayer HealthCare Best Resident Teacher by her peers.

Dr. Purcott lives in Carlsbad and devotes her personal time to her son.
